On 2020-08-27 we noticed an issue where the Family Rules feature was not working on devices with Android 9 and older.
The incident has been resolved for the majority of customers by 2020-09-04 13:00 UTC, and recovery for the remaining customers is expected to be completed by 2020-09-11
In order to correct the situation on affected device you need to reactivate the Family Rules Child profile either by reinstalling the security product or by following the steps below:
Open F-Secure SAFE for Android. Tap on the drop-down arrow next to Protecting . Tap on Switch user. Log in using your F-Secure account credentials. On the "Who uses this device?" page, select My Device, and tap Continue. Tap Finish Tap on the drop-down arrow next to Protecting . Tap on Switch user. Log in using your F-Secure account credentials. On the "Who uses this device?" page, select My Child, and tap Continue. Follow the instructions on screen to create a new profile (or to use existing profile) and set up Family Rules for your child.
